Frequently Asked Questions

Does the file merge order matter?
Yes, the file merge order is very important. File chunks must be merged in the correct order, otherwise the merged file may not work properly. If the file chunks are generated using the file splitter tool, the filenames usually contain sequence numbers (e.g., file.part1, file.part2), and can be sorted by sequence number. If the file chunks don't have sequence numbers, you need to manually adjust according to the original split order. The tool supports drag-and-drop sorting to easily adjust the order of file chunks.
Will my files be uploaded to the server?
No, all processing is done in your browser. Your files never leave your device, completely protecting your privacy. File merge operations are performed locally and are not uploaded to any server.
What file formats are supported? How many files can be merged at most?
The tool supports any file format, including documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text files, etc.), images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, etc.), videos (MP4, AVI, MKV, MOV, etc.), audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, etc.), archives (ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, etc.), executables, code files, etc. Up to 50 files are supported, each file size limit 100MB. If the number of files exceeds 50, it is recommended to merge in batches.
